Internet Marketing is the use of internet for advertising purposes and for the sales of products or services.

The target is to increase of targeted visitors traffic (targeted traffic) from web search engines either from the website's organic results placement either from a paid advertising placement at featured results.

Internet Marketing Methods include search engine marketing, web search engine advertisements (search engine advertising -PPC campaigns-), e-mail marketing, affiliate marketing....

Before these though, it is nessesary to do website optimization, meaning that first and before all a  search engine optimization (SEO) has to be done.
